Ways to Get Involved

Join our Board of Directors

The Grant County Animal Outreach (GCAO) Board of Directors meets the third (2nd) Tuesday of each month at the shelter. Contact us to learn more.

Foster a pet in your home

One way to help shelter pets is to be a foster home. The principle behind fostering is to provide a homeless dog or cat with a stable environment in order to evaluate their personality, habits, needs and behaviors. Apply here to be a foster parent.

Volunteer your time

Love animals as much as we do? Want to give back some of your time? We're always looking for volunteers to make a difference in the lives of local animals.

Donations

We rescue, reunite, rehabilitate, and re-home over 1,000 animals every year. We rely on donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations to save as many animals as possible. There are several ways to donate. Learn more here.
