Big progress is happening at the future home of GCAO…. the roof is officially going on! With every board and nail added, we are one step closer to opening the doors to a brand new shelter for the animals and community we serve. It’s incredibly exciting to watch this vision come to life, and we’re so grateful to everyone supporting this journey along the way. Stay tuned for more updates as construction continues!

Framing for the new home of Grant County Animal Outreach is going up.

April 28th, 2026

The long awaited update is here and the bare bones of our new facility are officially taking shape. Framing is in place, and asphalt has been poured!

We know it’s been a little while since our last update, and we truly appreciate your patience. Seeing this progress is more than construction. This building represents a brighter future for the dogs and cats of Grant County, and a stronger resource for the community we serve.

This project is incredibly special, and it would not be possible without everyone who has supported, believed in, and helped bring this vision to life.
